Mauser 1910 Portugese markings

I have a 1910 with the following markings which I would like to decipher. I understand from Pender's book that the "crown U" is the German proof mark, and the triangle means it was delivered to Portugal after WW1. (I wonder what they did with it, military/civilian?.) The barrel and slide each have a star and I haven't found any reference to tell me what that signifies. I know that here in the USA Smith & Wesson used a star to indicate a return to the factory for smithing work. All of the part numbers match, but there is also an "1" on the trigger guard. (The SN has no 1 anywhere).
