Compiled list of known Krieghoffs. Please fill in any missing info if you have first hand knowledge. Most of all I want to track condition as these guns will resurface in MINT condition and with 2 matched mags, so it's important that we get it right now! This will be extremely valuable in 10 years!!. Happy to report we just untied an orphan mag with the gun. One HAPPY forum member. If you would like to send me serials and/ or descriptions my email address is whitemant@aol.com
Thanks

Pete, You spent a LOT of time pulling together some new numbers, and searching back over several years.
Thanks, and I will get these added ASAP. I try to keep up with it all, but the Legacy business has me buried most days. (a good problem to have). I've reviewed the last 3 pages of new entries and think I have them all. Again if someone has a number to report, please email me at whitemant@aol.com. I am online ALL DAY most days, but only come to the forum about 1 X per week now due to my work schedule. So the BEST way to reach me is on email, not the forum. Thanks

I think I caught up again, but you had a BOATLOAD of links to HK's. One had images of Krieghoffs, but I got off that site right away. It had photos of Russian women, and a virus. It was the link for "cool images". So I would not go to that one. The current list update will be posted by Ed shortly. Thanks for your help with this.

Tom,

Not sure if you followed this other thread or not :

http://luger.gunboards.com/showthread.php?32224-1941-Krieghoff-Luger-Date

A second SN-11655 (1941-Dated HK) showed up in the past with one of our new Members when he purchased it. After some work in that discussion, the Owner conceded it was a "fake".

You have the other SN-11655 (1943-Dated HK) on your List, already.

But I thought the fake one should probably be added, too...as we know it will show up for sale, again, eventually.

SN-17303 is on the List already...but found some good photos back fromn 12-2009 when RIA tried to find a buyer. Seems like the reserve was not met.

Some thought the engraving work looked like from Mexico.

Looks like the frame SN may have been 11303 originally (as there is a ghost number "1" under the "7" on the frame front)...but that number is on the List, too, as a fully restored 1944 HK gun.

And the magazine on the right looks like it has a ghost "5" under the "7".

Many ???'s

SN-3873 is on the List already, but not with a lot of info. filled-in other than the comment of "restoration".

In hunting for more HK magazine photos, I found lots of photos of HK SN-3873 which is a S-Code Luger that certainly looks to be in original condition.

Current Owner of the gun might appreciate the status-upgrade for his gun on the List.

HK Luger SN-7944 (1937 Dated) is on the List already, but reported as 99% all matching but with a forced HK mag.

Interesting...here are photos of SN-7944 in its original state. The photos, below, go back to 2008 or 09.

Probably need to indicate a "re-finish" of the gun on the List.

Here is the Greg Martin auction description from 2010 when it commanded $ 7,000 on auction...unfortunately those auction photos have expired.

But it was sporting its 98% factory finish, then...and plastic grips replaced the old wooden grips.

A $ 3000 gun becomes a $ 7000 in about 1 to 1.5 years.
