Default Question about P35 Radom Vis Serial number

Does anyone know of an example of a Radom in which there are 3 digits in the serial number instead of 4. For example K420 vs K4209.

From what I have directly observed, three digit serials would have a 0 (zero). Such as: B0041, B0391, D0117, D0121, G0416, etc., etc.

Hello. It happens in the second alphabet K block. It is not a standard production but mistamped serial(still proper..IMO due to chaotic production in Steyr or Znaim factory).Regards Kris

    Kris,
I am inclined to agree with you. Checked my database, although only one three digit it was reported as K354. Have J0660 and J0662 reported.

It was the pistol on Gunauction.com that made me curious. It was the first time I've seen a 3 digit serial. I believe the seller has a great reputation and always seems to find interesting items.

When you look at the close up of the slide with decocking lever- isn't it strange that usual finish wear from lowering decocking lever on slide is parked over?
