yes, I posted on lugerforum.com - meant to do the same here of holding it at Allentown

I've said for a long time that if there was a shootable 45 ACP Luger I'd buy it - guess I'd have to sell my 9mm Carbine to get one right now.

But it feels really good in your hand and weighs approx 4 oz less than a 1911A1.

He said he had 12 working copies and sold 5 or 6 already and shipped them if I remember right. He has 5 ready to sell. I am not pumping up for sales for Eugene, but he did like I hoped and had models ready to buy rather than taking sales. Within the month I think he will have another dozen as he made frames, uppers and all the parts and just needs to hand-fit.

No magazines yet, so thats an issue...

You might want to consider one of John Martz's .45 lugers, which work perfectly, if one comes up for sale. TH

John Martz's .45 lugers won't be 5K. But they might come with a magazine! No mags..that sounds pretty serious..Time to call GT!

You can buy two or three of these compared to JVM, I've tried.

All dies are cut for the mags, finished last week, right before the show.
1095 roll already arrived as well, it was really hard to fined, and cost an arm and a leg.
Will be test bending this week , we will see how it goes.
But honestly after frames everything looks like a piece of cake
