I have the chance to pick up this AC 43 P38. Seller claims gun is all matching and comes with capture papers. Not being too familiar with these, I would like to get the forum's opinion first. How does this gun look?
* Looks good. The out of location acceptance stamps are a known attribute for this ac'43 straight-line variation.
* I trust the locking block is numbered & suffixed to the gun.
Paper looks good to me. See the 138n on description and the 463rd AAA. The 3's match up. So it was the same typewriter for the whole text. Also look at the at the lif. 8-46, the 6 under closer observation should look like a 5 with a closed loop as this one. Looks correct to me.
Nice Catch.

The seller has a few different guns with paper that looks like they're all aged equally, but independently. They don't have water spots in the same places but they have water spots. They're not issued to the same personnel, or even the same ranks, but they're dated the same, etc. It's a bit coincidental to me. Could be 100% legit though.
