Does anybody here reload for their 1907's? I cast my own lead and am seriously looking at the NEI .331 118 gr. bullet but am more concerned about brass. I'd like to form my own but from what I can gather the only rimless case suitable is the 30 M1 carbine and the forming dies are in the $500.00 neighborhood. Custom made brass is a bit of a problem as I can only get $100.00 worth of the stuff at a time due to US export regs.

I realize it would be quite expensive, but how about buying a couple of boxes of Fiocchi 8mm Steyr to get the brass? I know Buffalo Arms makes the brass also. But as you said, the import/export restrictions are a pain!! I went the easy way using the Fiocchi brass which originally cost me $16. USD per 50 loaded rounds. I think it may be doubled by now. Try www.midwayusa.com and see what they have! Good Luck!!

Fiocchi is $90.00 a box here and shipping loaded ammo from any US destination is a no-no. Midway-US won't ship ANYTHING internationally after being busted for less than "conscientious" sales a few years ago.

The only two Fiocchi dealers I can find here charge an extra fee for anything not in the standard dealer's inventory listing. All other Fiocchi listings are pretty much in line with Midway's. Damn I wish Midway had been more selective about who and what they sold to people back in the middle of the decade!
