Klaus,
Thank you again for the information and the photo of your regimental marked holster.

Klaus & George,
Is there a possibility that the "E" could stand for Eisenbahn Regiment or Eisenbahn-Baukompagnie nebst Trainkolonne? Or is it most likely Ersatz?

My time and resources are rather limited for Imperial Unit research and mostly rely on the patience and experience of the more knowledgeable regimental collector.
