I posted this holster before as part of a group with not the best pics. This holster is as green as can be. Finnish green if you ask me. It looks like German Post War but I have not found a green German Holster. I was thinking Finnish Peace Keeping Troops?
Looks to me to be a typical, albeit well worn, West German P1 holster. Back in the 1970s a ton of West German police P1 pistols came into the US when the West Germans surplused them out. Pistols were sold with police holster, spare magazine, cleaning rod, and manual all boxed up. Price, at that time, was about $150. I think I may still have a few buried in the back of the safe. Good shooters. The more interesting P1 police pistols were the Berlin police guns, marked as made in France by Manurhin.
