Contrary to what RIA auction writes up as "all original parts"...this one simply does not. The front toggle link is off of a M1929 Bern Luger...not correct for this M1906 W+F model made by Bern.
Not uncommon to see 1929 parts on repaired pistols. Arsenal didn't care and used new parts when needed. Alexander Stucki did a very nice article on a repaired, fully documented, Bern 1906 with 29 parts. I also have one here with a 29 rear toggle link.
Gee, what a surprise, people actually did SHOOT their Parabellums..................It's well to remember that the service life of an issue pistol could be 30+ years...And, the owner was required to qualify with it each year. And, may be he used it for other matches, each year. It should be no wonder that parts might need replacing and standard parts were used, even if the part was made at a much later date....
