    Default 1939 E/L Banner

    Hello all,

I thought you all may enjoy seeing a nice police banner luger with matching magazine! This had never been in a firearms collection until I got it. A guy I know who is into guns of all types told me he had this he wanted to get rid of. He got it for doing some excavating work for some people a few years back.

I apologize for the poor photos, it is all I have at the moment as I have not yet been able to take it out for some decent pictures.

I collect firearms with bringback (capture) papers, and it does not exactly fit my collection (focussed on Mauser produced lugers with provenance), however, the price was right and I could not pass on it.

Everything matches including the magazine, firing pin, and grips. It came with a 1941 dated holster.

    Thanks for looking!

    P.S.
I understand that there were not many of these produced, and they command a great price. Because it does not fit my collection, I may be looking to trade it for something nice with bringback paperwork. I would be particularly interested in a Byf 41 or Byf 42 “black widow” with documentation.

    Enjoy!

    Oh, my. So very nice!

This deserves a full set of detailed pics in good focus and indirect lighting. Do it justice.

If I had to pick a sigle III Reich P08, the Police Banner Mauser it would be.
Yours is a very nice one!
Congratulations - and, yes, we hope for more detailed pictures.

    Thank you all!

It truly is a beauty and the finish is nearly perfect! As far as value goes, what do you all think this would bring? It came in a bcb 41 holster.

better pictures will be on the way!

    thanks again!
