    Suffix is a lower case g.
    Does the sear safety or do police markings indicate a police pistol?

    Jan, I have a 1936 S/42 #3381o, DE63, DE63 (both small) & MTP. Non matching mag. &
    unnumbered grips. Regards

    correction to size of S in S/42 for luger 627 i posted in the data--it is small and same size as the 42 numerals

    two new 1936's, first one 7401 i, large S,small 42 digits, DE/63,DE/63.MTP,grips unnumbered

    second one 1181 O ,large S, large 42 digits, DE/63,DE/63 MTP--two matched mags--blued tubes,grips unnumbered, sideplate inside numbered 11

    My 1936 S/42 has the serial number 1682k, the S is bigger than the 42, DE/63 med DE/63 small and MTP. Bore gauge 8.82. Not numbered blue mag with the letter k and SE/63. Unnumbered wood grips.
