Hello all,

Wanted to share some photos of this 1914 Erfurt LP08 I just got in today. I picked this one up on GunBroker for $1850. I felt like there wasn't a lot of risk involved since people are paying up to $1,500 for LP08 shooters.

This one has all matching numbers, except for the magazine which is appropriately Erfurt proofed, but S/N 4205+.

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks guys,

I'm not sure if this thing was mistakenly listed or what, but the starting bid was $1,849 and the "Buy it Now" was also $1,849 so I jumped on it. In any case, the seller honored the deal, no questions asked.

Doubs, I wish I could say it was unit marked, but it isn't.

Yes I have posted pics here on the forum. The Wurtinberg Regiments were the recruiting ground for most of the German special forces of that era shock ,storm troopers ,mountain troops ,Jager troops. Trench raiding troops. Rommel came from this group too.
