    Default opinions please

    Was looking at this as a possible buy think its a sneak and something happened to it and it was reworked at spandu but I am not certain and have no idea if its correct thanks in advance for the help.

    It is an interesting gun. It has a Crown N denoting commercial sales, but it is numbered in the military fashion. It is a consignment gun, so due to the times, someone is needing cash and the gun has been marked down. I would pay their asking price for it...Bill

    The left grip looks like a police modified for a mag safety, but no sear safety hole

    The sideplate is erfurt acceptance stamped

    Its and interesting one and you don't see SU4 ones often.

    I put it on layaway it looks really nice and would I be correct that its a sneak and something happened to it then it was reworked? and its parts correct and I want to thank everyone for there reply's as I know nothing about lugers

    in 1926 there was word to start using aluminum, however, wood bottoms were to used till exhausted.

    I would say that this went to the depot and was worked on, using replacement parts that they had.

    it could be faked, but as said above, I'd not turn it down...

    I got my pistol today after some trouble getting a permit it does have a blued mag release button that appears incorrect for this type model? and you can barley see beside the waa66 making in the photos a dropped wing eagle like on 38 and before lugers I have not seen this on any other sneak any ideas what it is

    it also has the eagle on the side of the barrel in front of side plate you can barley see it eagle 9 maybe?
