Hello, as I could not find a postwar FN accessories forum or sub-forum, I picked this one, although I have no idea if it is German or even Canadian(?). A white leather painted (= lacquered) construction, with brass hardware and rivets. A FN High Power fits correctly in it, including its magazine in an internal pouch. No marking, no date. I assume postwar. Likeky for military parade. Could you help in better identifying subject holster, please?

Hi Bruno,

Well both are correct, however this one is lacquered, with low hanging belt loops, so it is Belgian Motorcycle Police, locally called Zwaantjes (little swans) for their white gear. These cops were not very popular as they mainly dealt with pulling over folks for speeding...

The white gear came about mid-1950s, earlier was black.

I know them well.
Used to have a heavy foot in my young days.

Good photo, aah those converted combi's... all the tax money that was spent on conversions and that expensive camera equipment. This is still an early photo, in the 1980s they ordered custom Nikon F3P cameras with MD4 drives, it cost a fortune. I recall statements that only NASA had spent more on custom F3s to go into space!

Also them driving with Porsche 911s while most people could only afford Ford Escorts...
