    Has any metal been displaced on the front of the frame? It looks almost ground down in the picture and that is what led me to believe it is a partial b. The bottom loop of the tail didn't look flowing enough for an l (L), but I sure can't tell for sure.

    Is only the pic.came off only part of the burnishing,but the metal and undamaged.
    suffix is ​​the same as what I found on the web

    In the thread you linked, it is identified as a'l' (lower case L) not 'i'.
