Default Japanese type 14 capture papers

    Hi
i was lucky in buying of the vet son a type 14 small trigger guard with every thing!! All matching type 14 except for the bolt retracting knob. And it does not have the extra firing pin. But is has two boxes of original 8mm ammo. Original cleaning rod. Nice holster one matching magazine and the other is correct for this early type of 14. The capture papers and the history of the guys unit. He was in a national guard unit that fought all through the pacific. And the original lanyard..........Date of the pistol is 9.9 made in sept. 1934

Very NICE! I have a similar set...showa 10.7 myself...a good find for sure!
I'll bet you'll find...you do have the original spare pin! Unfortunately..(sigh)...that is the weakest link...and it is most likely....in the gun.
Buy and install a new spare pin, get some fresh ammo ...and ENJOY! Nice to see these T-14s are still around in this condition!

    Default Type 14 nambu

    Hi
i did fire it will the original firing pin i was lucky. The next time i will buy a repro firing to shoot more. I have a type 94 that i shot just using the sear bar, and i found out that it was not easy to push down on the sear bar. I think any gi watching a japanese soldier try that would know that some thing was going on!!!

    Default Type 14 with papers

    Hi guys,
the capture papers really make it . The guy was in the american division and they saw a lot of action from new caledonia, guadalcanal, fiji and bougainville and last the philippines.
And was in the occupation of japan and was deactivated 12 december 1945.
So i think that he picked up the type 14 at the philippines or during the occupation of japan.

I have more information about the 164th Infantry Regiment, and seek some info about the weapon in return. SAKIJOE, please check your private message folder.
