    Kü 3720 surfaced in Germany. I'm working on importing it at the moment.
    41 on the chamber, byf on the toggle. Wooden grips. Messed-with magazine.

    Dave: 2866Ku , 41/42 , e655 , wood #'d 2866 e655 , alum. base- fxo e37 P.08 #2866 mag , 42 coded # 66 side plate , pictured in TRL pg 103 and listed on pg 557 of Don's fine book. Hope this helps.
    Stan D. - The Bakelite grips of all Walther P.38's are heat stamped up thru early ac 41 variation with the last 3 # of full ser# ,with a heated die pressed into grip interior.

    6766 Ku L block 42 42 receiver light plum, E135x2E barrel right E, left E135, rear toggle light plum, bolt and pin blued with Wiemar eagle,extractor bright plum,wood grips, right side marked 66 E135 underneath, left not marked, All the small parts#'d 66 (excluding firing pin#56) match, incorrect mag. No BYF found, No L found, Sunfish

    My first thoughts are that this Ku suffix serial number is beyond the estimated 6000 Ku suffix production as listed in THE MAUSER PARABELLUM by Don and Joop. My guess is that there were parts left over from the Ku run and and assembly went on with whatever could be found...

    Thanks to member Dave Lindsay we can add Ku 4319 to the list.. Dave also posts some very interesting information concerning the numbering of Black Mag Bottoms.
