    Default 1937 S/42 with brown grips

    I just picked up from a vets son, a 1937 S/42 with brown hk grips. The son said the luger has not seen day light since it was brought back from WW2. I will try to post picts tomorow. Joe.

    Steve... Thanks for the heads up. I contacted the owner and have added it to the list. As I explained over on the other forum that IMO the material that came over from Krieghoff back in the early 40's would probably have been used up before the 42 BYF was made. It is way too early in the study to know for sure so I am including all data submitted. My guess is that it probably did not come from the factory with those grips on but I have no way of proving that and there are many explainations on how they could have ended up on this pistol.

    Hi Dave,

    Ku3834 has coarse brown grips. It is a clean DWM/41. ANything else?
