    DSC00229.jpgHi Tom, Best I can get with my camera. I used the white to add contrest. Almost looks now like a double struck "O"?? I notice a shadow "0" around the 601 serial number. Gun was reblued somewhere in its life.

    Receiver front and frame front do not seem to line up evenly for some reason.

    Notice it has no side plate or take down lever...bet that is the reason
    If it is made after 1918...it is a reproduction.

    Pretty run of the mill S/42 1937. but it is nice. Ser# 2835x, DE/63, DE/63. All blue small parts, Mauser hump frame. All matching, including mags & grips. Only oddity, is what appears to be a partial Gothic G on right side of bolt. Will post photos.

    Have 1937, S/42, All blued original (no straw), SN # 4576 Z, SE63, DE63, MTP, Hump, All matching incl. two blued mags with aluminum bottoms, SE63 stamps (one with +).
