It will be an aluminum base with a nickel (non-blued) tube. It will show the full serial number and letter suffix, but the proofs vary depending on the letter suffix or serial number range. Look at the sticky in the "G" date section (Nazi lugers) and see where your serial number fits...then see which proof goes with your number range.
