Luftwaffe accepted Drilling sold at a gun auction in Bristol, VA this past weekend. Condition was only good, maybe good plus. NO case or accessories were with it. Price: $8500 + seller add ons..... jps-s
A sale transpired recently between 2 NAPCA members of a Model 30 Luftwaffe accepted Sauer in excellent condition with aluminum case without any accessories. Price: $13,350. A known example in my database. JIM
New Luftwaffe Drilling noted today via member of the German Gun Collectors Association. Serial number 338090 in excellent condition, but without a case or accessories. Regards, Jim Cate
I was recently asked if any of the Luftwaffe Drillings had scopes attached by the Sauer company. I only have 2 in my database that have scopes and it would appear these two were altered postwar. Neither have the same type of mounts which also leads me to believe the additions of scopes was not factory executed. Regards, Jim Cate
Cased example on RIA soon.....Complete with aluminum case and accessories.......Jim
