Frank, You are correct, of course. There is definitely a "90" there. The stamping is very light, I would vote for a "B".

    Survey updated.

Thanks to Frank William and Dave, 8 more!. Proof of Herbert's SN 3069 corrected. Magazine from Dave's #802 added.
    We have now 17 K-dates.

Joop...... Please note that I added a mag to my #802. It has a scriptic S above the SN. I also dug out some additional info on K Dates that I have observed but do not own.

    To Taudelt,

    Dave,
In your post above you gave the next data for K-date SN 7026:
    (1) #7026 (2)B/90 S/91 (3) a (4) b (5) a (6) no K mag...
As the changes of 3.(appearance of scriptic/gothic inspection marks) until now seem to follow the pattern of issue, it might be that the 3.a for this SN is not correct.
Do you have the possibilty to examine this Luger again and doublecheck this?
    Thanks!

Joop.... It belonged to a friend of a friend who I will see tomorrow at a show. I will ask him to check it out. I observed the gun in June of 2003 and perhaps the cheap wine I was drinking back then may have blurred my eyesight........

Also please note that #7763 does show the indent.

Will be back with you ASAP.........

    Dave,

Tank your very much for your help!
In the listing I will put a sign only when a K-date does NOT have the indentation. They usually have. Also the first issues of the G-date as I observed this week.
Hey, I hope you never drink jug wines again... As will notice they can blurr your eyesight. These reds are only fit to marinate your meat in. As it is 17:00pm here, I just poured a first glass of a fine Kron merlot 2004 from Latia in Italy. I see much better now
